The Earth Physics Laboratory of the Department of Geophysics , Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry (FHC), at the University M'Hamed Bougara of Boumerdès (UMBB), was set up in 2000. The laboratory comprises four research teams organized around key research themes. The diversity of these themes is an asset for doctoral students and industry alike. At present, our research is focused on hydrocarbon exploration issues.
